Mission Statement
The Non-Profit Corporation was formed for the charitable purpose of continuing the work of the Late Reverend Mark Xavier Lewis, supporting disenfranchised youth throughout New York City. It will provide: educational mentoring, financial empowerment and community outreach.
Mark's Life Story
Mark was a native New Yorker. He attended The Greenwich Village Elementary Public School 41 in New York City, East Side Middle School on the Upper Eastside in New York City and The Stony Brook School a private boarding school for high school students in Stony Brook, New York. He has always been brilliant, and graduated from Fordham University in May, 2007 with a Bachelor of Art Degree in History.
Mark was a part of New Life of New York City, a Christian Youth Organization, as a teenager and after he graduated from college he heeded the call of God to Ministry and served New Life with passion and grace. He worked in many capacities at New Life; The Learning Center Director at Clinton Street, and served as the Project Director of both Clinton Street and Brooklyn sites. Mark loved his work which was just an extension of his life.
While working full time at New Life, Mark desired to move to higher heights in his call to service and attended the Alliance Theological Seminary. He served as the Youth Pastor at Trinity Grace Church as a part of his Divinity training. Mark graduated in May 2016 with the coveted Master of Divinity degree. Mark was an Ordained Minister.
Mark was so many different things to different people. Such a beautiful soul inside and out. God truly used him to His glory! He served the Lord with all his heart, mind and soul. He is the epitome of a servant, a good a faithful servant! Mark's legacy and life will live on in the hearts and lives of many!
