It is with great joy that I announce that I continue to grow Mark’s legacy by teaching knitting in the community. Many years ago when Mark was the Project Director of New Life, he invited me to teach knitting to teenagers at the Clinton street and Brooklyn sites. This is where I found purpose and peace in providing a relaxing outlet for the community to counter the anxieties of life. MXL Community Knitting has become a welcoming space that has helped our multigenerational members build lifelong memories.
